Reflexology is an Established Alternative Therapy (based on the concept of
Energy Dynamics) which ultimately works by stimulating specific areas on the
hands and the feet with a view to bringing about distant 'Healing Changes'
within the body.
The Healing Art of Reflexology has been safely and successfully practised
globally for many millennia.
One of the earliest recordings of Reflexology lies within the Ancient Tomb of
the Egyptian Physician Ankmahor in Saqqara (dated around 2500-2300BC), with
Pictographs of Basic Reflexology Treatments being performed on the hands and
feet of Royalty and Nobility.
Native Americans have also practised a dignified form of Reflexology for many
centuries ; and it is said that American President John Garfield (1831-1881)
evangelically favoured Hand Reflexology as an effective means of obtaining
Satisfactory Pain Relief from severe wounds sustained from an earlier
assassination attempt.
